Conservatives on the Verge of a Majority

I will repeat what I said before the by-elections. "The Conservatives are poised to pick up a lot of seats in Quebec meaning they will only have to pick up a few more suburban seats in BC and Ontario to win a small majority."

Actually, given the current mood of the Liberals, "bye-election" does seem quite appropriate.

Just think of the voters waving to the Grits: byeeeee . . .

Let's just watch - anytime the words "majority and Harper" go together - Canadians so far have panicked.

Ya, keep it up - let's say majority, I'd like to see what happens.

Yes, Dion needs to do more work in Quebec - and hard lesson are the ones best learned.

Martinites have left us a mess in Quebec that will take a generation to fix.

The only thing good about the Outremont result is that Jean Lapierre is gone.

The Bloc is free fall in Quebec and the Liberals have not been able to capitalize, but the Conservatives have. The alliance between the ADQ and the Conservatives also means the Conservatives have a strong ground game there as well.

I agree, Koby. The last thing the Liberals need are blind obedient partisans assuring themselves everything is okay - it's not. Harper's chances are looking better and better and better all the time.
