Conservative Majority, NDP Official Opposition

I suspect I will be moving a lot more Bloc seats to the NDP and possibly more Liberal seats to the Conservatives. As things stand, I have the Conservatives with a majority, NDP as the official opposition and Liberals well on their way sharing the fate of Progressive Conservatives.

If we get results like this, it's time for the Libs and NDP to talk merger. Hopefully, Jack will listen.

I think you perhaps look at Charlottetown as a more likely Conservative pick up on PEI than Malpeque. The incumbent Liberal did not reoffer.

It’s probably not the right time to say this, but despite his baggage I think Bob Rae would have been a better challenger to Harper. Ignatieff has done his best this campaign, but he simply conveys a right-wing impression to voters. Rae is clearly center-left and would have made a better foil for Harper. Further, Rae would have been better at neutralizing the NDP vote.

You're the only person in the country who thinks the Conservatives will win Richmond Hill.

I hope to god I am wrong Jason and may yet switch it back to the Liberals depending on what the polls say, but Oak Ridges Markham went Blue, Vaughn went blue, Thornhill went blue.

I know, but Malpeque was a lot closer and Conservative support is strongest in the western part of Island and gets weaker the farther east you go.
